1. What did you learn about Eustace Scrubb in relationship to King Caspian from Chapter 4?

-He showed how good and honest friend he is to King Caspian because when his first question he asked when he was brought to the parliament of owls was whether this gathering is against the King or not.

2. Why would Trumpkin keep the children from looking for the Lost Prince?

-Because no one has ever come back from searching for the Prince.

3. Why had the King set sail?

4. What happened to the Queen, the lost prince Rilian and Drinian?

-The Queen lost her life on a trip to the northern with the Prince Rilian due to a stung of a green serpent in the woods. Prince Rilian promised to avenge of her mother and to kill all the serpents and worms in the north, yet, a while later, he seemed different. Lord Drinian was the one who noticed this change first, so he asked the Prince and he said he was meeting a stunning woman in the woods in the north, which sounded very suspicious. Drinian rode together with the Prince the next day, and he saw a mysterious woman in green dress, which made him recall the death of the Queen. Then, they went back to the Narnia, but the after that day, Rilian went to the north on his own, then never came back. Anything belonged to him was never found in anywhere. Drinian blamed himself for the loss of the Prince so he told the story to the King. Losing his wife, then his son, King could not kill Drinian for his guilt.

Reflection

Comparing to the previous three chapter, this chapter way interesting and several human characters were shown, which seemed this story is starting to make more sense. This chapter felt like a prelude of a great adventure lies in front of Eustace and Jill, so I am excited to read the next chapters. Also, a villain of this story has been finally revealed. The green serpent which can transform into a lady was amusing. I wonder what her next scheme is. She might be planning to take down King Caspian, or his territory, or Aslan by using his son as a hostage.

I do not know why but I always end up talking about Jill somehow in my every reflection. This time, I also have something to tell about her. I noticed that she is becoming an adventurer like the other kids who were in Narnia before. I can imagine how Eustace was like when he came to Narnia first. For Jill, except for the accident on the edge of the cliff, she is trying her best to accomplish her mission.
