5. What were the Signs given by Aslan?

-He gave four signs:

  • Head to the ruined city of ancient giants
  • Find a message written on a stone in giants city and follow the message
  • Find the lost prince who will ask them to do something on behalf of Arslan.

  • When someone is sent to the Narnia by Aslan’s blow and arrives in Narnia, it puzzles the mind with its thick air. So, one should remember what to do there all the time. To let her remember the signs, Aslan told her to say the signs every day when she wakes up from the sleep and before going to bed.

Reflection

When there is no way to escape, one could do anything to help oneself. That was the word that came to my mind after reading this chapter. Since the moment Jill came to a new place, there were many factors that urged her to do something she had never tried to do. It was not like she wanted to, was rather she had to. Furthermore, at a first glance, the task Aslan gave her was surely too much for the girl who was crying behind the gym. On the other hand, even though it is a fantasy, this overestimation can happen in real life. Sometimes, a life demands too much from people. Therefore, back to the story, I would love to see how this journey will change Jill.
