Fasting is a kind of diet where people eat nothing or very little for a specific period of time in a pattern. It is a simple and effective method to lose weight. Firstly, fasting is very simple, and you have to do nothing but stop eating. For example, in the case of a ketogenic diet, in short, keto diet, which is being popular among girls, you have to eat certain foods including seafood, low carb vegetables, cheese, avocados, coconut oil, meat, and whole-grain products, etc, which are sometimes hard to afford or find on a daily basis, depending on where you live and your situation. In contrast, fasting is cheap and simple to stick to. Furthermore, it is a powerful tool for reducing calories. A study made in 2014, found that fasting can cause 3–8% weight loss over 3–24 weeks, to simply put, losing 0.25–0.75kg per week. Also, a 4–7% of reduction in the waist of the body was indicated during fasting, which is a brilliant amount compared with the other diets. Therefore, fasting could be your go-to method to lose weight conveniently with an adequate result.
